"The leads have nice chemistry and writer-director Gustavo Ron sprinkles in some funny and touching family moments"
Vivien (Aimee Teegarden) and Chloe (Krysta Rodriguez) two cousins living in Brooklyn, have been inseparable ever since they were children. At least, they were until they inherited their Aunt Isabelle's bakery. Vivien, who has postponed her dream trip to Europe to help run the shop, wants to keep things traditional, and wants to make sure that nothing changes. Chloe, a chef's assistant for a popular daytime cooking show, feels they should put a modern spin on things, with a new image and product. Their clash of ideas leads to a peculiar solution: they decide to split the shop in half with a black line in the middle and each runs her business as she sees fit. Inevitably, things heat up as they are forced to fight over every customer who walks in the door. But Vivien and Chloe will have to learn to overcome their differences and work together as a team in order to save the bakery and everything that truly matters in their lives.
