Recently out of prison, Colin (Ryan Patrick Bachand), a disillusioned man who is trying to reconnect with his past and create a new future. After a major crisis, he attempts to track down his "first love," only to discover that she was killed many years ago in a car accident. Stumbling upon her younger sister online, an aspiring musician who bears a striking resemblance to the girl he used to love, he quickly becoming obsessed, and arranges a not-so-chance meeting. A serious relationship blossoms between the two before he has a chance to disclose his true identity as the film portrays an intimate portrait of a relationship based on deceit.

Keep In Touch is the directorial debut of Chicago native Sam Kretchmar, who co-wrote, directed and shot the film. It is film about love, family and redemption, as Colin tries to keep a secret about who he really is, that may threaten his hope for a better life. Featuring Jill Eikenberry (TV's L. A. Law), and comic Reggie Watts.

Winner of the Heartland Film Festival Award for Best Narrative Feature, Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival and Winner of the Award for Best Fiction Film at the Chicago International Movies and Music Festival (CIMMfest).
