Facets Film Dialogue:
filmmakers in person!

When a U.S. congressman's daughter passing through a small town in Mississippi dies in a mysterious triple homicide, a team of F.B.I. agents, divorced FBI agent Vaughn Killinger (James Callis, Battlestar Galactica) and his partner Sarah Desoto (Christiane Seidel, Boardwalk Empire), arrive to investigate. He is the team's brilliant but jaded lead agent battling demons both past and present (he seems to be losing his fight against alcoholism), as his beautiful, tough-as-nails partner tries to hold him and the case together. They find a struggling and corrupt sheriff's department (which seems to be throwing up road blocks to solving the investigation), whose chief deputy runs drugs for "Big" John Dawson (William Forsythe, The Devil's Rejects), a shadowy and much-feared figure. The town is full of secrets, some of them pretty dark and he is pulling all of the town's strings from his mansion on the edge of town as this high-pressure murder investigation could destroy the lives of all those involved.

The Hollow is a southern-noir crime drama, set against the cultural and geographic backdrop of small-town Mississippi and what was once a peaceful village soon becomes a powder keg.

Directed by Miles Doleac, 2016, U. S.A. 128 mins. The ensemble cast includes William Sadler (Machete Kills) and Jeff Fahey (TV's From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series).
