Documentary filmmaker and world traveler Rick Ray ventures through the northern Himalayas to spend 45 minutes with the Dalai Lama. The build-up to the footage of Ray asking His Holiness 10 questions comes in the form of telling segments from Ray's exotic trip, as well as archival footage that helps elucidate Tibet's troubled history. Even if some of Ray's questions are pedestrian, the Dalai Lama's responses are reliably enlightening. Musical score by Peter Kater.
