Aliens land at a U.S. Army base seeking help for their dying planet, but are greeted with gunfire by the paranoid armed forces. The aliens are forced to retaliate, which pits earthlings vs. humanoids in a fight for earth's survival. With great early special effects by Ray Harryhausen.
