GLORIOUS EXIT

In Glorious Exit, Jarreth Merz, a Swiss-Nigerian actor living in Los Angeles is catapulted into a leadership role in a complicated situation. He is the eldest son of a Nigerian chieftain and a Swiss mother, returning to Africa to assume the responsibilities of organizing traditional funeral rites and feasts. According to Nigerian tradition, the first-born is in charge of a father’s burial, but who is this father? Although Jarreth accepts the responsibility, he struggles with why he feels morally bound towards a family whom he hardly knows and who has never been particularly interested in him? He is soon faced with clan hostilities, threats of poisoning, and exorbitant costs, thus starting a journey of reflective self-discovery.
