Lawrence Jordan's surreal animations and quirky live action shorts create an amazing world of joy and wonder. A master of cut out animation, he combines 19th century engraving, modern imagery, and common symbols and constructs dream like narratives. We will be screening seven short films including Rime of the Ancient Mariner, an interpretation of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's classic poem narrated by Orson Welles.
