THE SITE

It all comes to a head one day after his girl finally tells him like it is. Jimmy is a white, 30-year old construction manager leading a community development project on Chicago's blighted, but gentrifying South Side. However, the "white devil" he's working for is becoming less and less welcome in the community as capitalist greed overtakes years of careful community building. The jobsite is a pressure cooker ready blow when gangs threaten, labor pours on the heat and middle management loses its cool. Jimmy is left to question the meaning of "job" and "security".
