Never let it be said:
There's no chance you will succeed.
Raised in poverty and suffering from a sever stuttering disability, Bob
Love, the last member of his family to be born on a plantation, rose to
become a Chicago Bulls NBA superstar. After a career-ending back injury,
doctors told him that he would have difficulty walking, let alone playing
the game he loved. His life spiraled out of control nad he ended up
penniless, working as a busboy and dishwasher at a Seattle restaurant.
The film chronicles his battle, at age 47, to overcome his formidible
opponent: his stuttering disability. He has since become a role model for
young people everywhere and one of the most sought after motivational
speakers in the country. Today, as the Director of Community Affairs for the
Chicago Bulls, Bob Love reaches out to more than 250,000 young people each
year about the importance of education, pererverance over adversity, and
achieving one's dreams.
