"Writer-director Allen Wolf maintains an unwavering moral outlook and a genuine fascination with the workings of guilt" -Chicago Reader
Marcus (Philip Winchester) often wakes up in a strange place late at night and has no idea how he got there. He suffers from parasomnia, a rare sleepwalking disorder that makes him do things in his sleep that he cannot recall the next day. One day his situation takes a horrifying turn when he wakes up covered in blood with a knife at his side. That same morning, a close friend is found stabbed to death. As Marcus frantically tries to put the pieces together, he wonders if he killed her while sleepwalking, and if so, was there a dark secret between them that he was trying to hide? Also, several mysterious phone calls lead him to believe that someone is watching him, and as he investigates his own nocturnal activities, his journey to discover the truth ends in a shocking discovery.
In My Sleep is a taut psychological thriller that challenges the fears and desires of the audience by developing an intense need to know what will happen while impatiently waiting for something to happen. It brings genuine moments of suspense and is a provocative exploration of the human psyche.
