Two Jacks is a comical adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's short story Two Hussars, comparing the generational change from father to son in the world of Hollywood. Legendary film director Jack Hussar (Danny Huston, The Aviator), notorious gambler and womanizer, returns to Hollywood (after a lengthy absence) so that he can raise money for his next feature film. As usual, he attends a lavish party one night and doing what he does best: seduces the stunning Diana (Sienna Miller, Factory Girl), attends some wild industry events while narrowly escaping a brush with the law, all before playing a high-stakes poker game at dawn.
Years later, his son, Jack Hussar Jr. (Danny's real life nephew Jack Huston) moves to Hollywood, and it is clear that he aspires to live up to his father's reputation for his own directorial debut. Soon after arriving, Diana (now played by Jacqueline Bisset) notices her daughter falling for her former lover's son. Within this film we see the struggle of a son trying to step out of his father's shadow, in a story that contrasts the old and new Hollywood..
