Three high school seniors living on the Navajo Nation's territory in New Mexico. As graduation approaches, all three must think about their future plans: should they leave and go to college, or stay on the reservation and try to better their community? Will their shared devotion to long distance running help them to remember the past while setting their sights on the future?


All films are official selections from the Chicago International Children's Film Festival, and all programs include an introduction and post-screening discussion led by one of our trained media educators. Curriculum aligned with the Common Core is also provided to teachers prior to the day of screening.
